TORONTO — Tonbara Sports & Entertainment proudly announces that Duan Asemota has been selected for Team Canada at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. Asemota will compete in the men's 100m and 4x100m relay. As Canada's current national champion in the 100m and 60m, he has a personal best of 10.03 seconds for Glasgow. The Paris 2024 Olympian and 2025 World Relays gold medalist has solidified his status as one of Canada's top sprinters. The 2026 Commonwealth Games are scheduled from July 23 to August 2 in Glasgow.
