Tonbara Sports Client Émilie Lavoie Selected 72nd Overall by Montreal Victoire
DETROIT / MONTREAL — Tonbara Sports & Entertainment congratulates Émilie Lavoie on being selected 72nd overall by the Montreal Victoire in the 2026 PWHL Draft.
The selection marks a homecoming for Lavoie, a native of Beloeil, Quebec, who built one of the most decorated careers in Concordia Stingers history. She departs the program as a three-time RSEQ champion, two-time U SPORTS national champion, and one of the most productive players in program history with a 1.13 points-per-game average across 107 U SPORTS games.
Lavoie served as an alternate captain for Team Canada at the 2025 FISU Winter World University Games, where the team earned a silver medal. At Concordia, she was named RSEQ Rookie of the Year and played alongside Olympic champion Julie Chu.
"Being drafted by Montreal is special," said Lavoie. "I grew up watching hockey in Quebec, and now I get to play professionally in my home province."
